Our Tribe

The Enterprise Rancheria of Estom Yumeka Maidu is a federally recognized sovereign nation located in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California. Our ancestors have lived along the Feather and Yuba Rivers since time immemorial, guided by a deep respect for the land, water, and all living things.

Established as a rancheria in 1915, the Tribe has persevered through generations of hardship while preserving our cultural identity and traditions. Today, Enterprise Rancheria continues to strengthen its self-governance and promote the well-being of its members through programs in education, housing, environmental stewardship, health, and cultural preservation.

With our Maidu heritage at the forefront of all our governance and driven by our commitment to future generations, we honor our past while building a sustainable and thriving community for the years ahead.
